Check your X-Matrix: a completeness score in seconds
Upload the X-Matrix template you filled in and get its completeness score out of 100, free and without an account. The checker reads your four quadrants and finds what a strategy review trips on: initiatives tied to nothing, breakthrough objectives with no chain down to a KPI, and KPI sets that only measure outcomes.

What the score measures
- Coverage (15%) — enough elements in each quadrant: 3-5 breakthrough objectives, 3-7 annual objectives, 5-10 initiatives, 3-6 KPIs.
- Density (20%) — how many of the possible links in each corner of the X actually exist.
- Orphans (20%) — elements linked to nothing — the initiative nobody can justify in a review.
- Chains (25%) — every breakthrough objective reaches a KPI through an annual objective and an initiative.
- Indicator balance (20%) — objectives and initiatives measured by both a result (lagging) and a performance (leading) KPI.
What happens to your file
It is read in memory to compute the score, then discarded: we keep no copy of its content. To prevent abuse we log only that a check happened (element counts, score, IP address). Nothing else is stored unless you click “Save it”, and even then the copy stays in your own browser until you import or dismiss it.
Limits, said plainly
- It reads our template only, not other X-Matrix layouts.
- Corner marks are not read; links come from the Action Plan sheet.
- The score audits the structure of your matrix, not the quality of your strategy.
