Hoshin Kanri REST API

Beta: operations and fields may still change.

For an AI agent, use MCP at https://hoshin.app/mcp: it needs no file and carries the method. This API is for automation that does not speak MCP, such as a Power Automate flow or a script.

The files

Authentication

An admin creates a token from the API tokens link in the app header. Send it in the Authorization header. A read-only token is refused on operations marked write.

The operations answer an error with a stable code in the error field. Messages stay in English: rely on the code.

Power Automate and Logic Apps

  1. In Power Automate, open Solutions, then New, Automation, Custom connector, and choose Import an OpenAPI file.
  2. Select swagger.json. The security step already asks for an API key in the Authorization header.
  3. When you create the connection, type Bearer, a space, then your token.

We wrote these steps from Microsoft’s documentation and have not run this import ourselves yet. Check that your Microsoft licence covers custom connectors.
